The food drive

For all of the temple's existence we have done a High Holy Days food drive for the Fort Mill Care Center. Our members provided canned food and other supplies to the food pantry at the FMCC.

The Fort Mill Care Center is a non-profit organization that provides necessities, gives advice, and otherwise helps the Fort Mill community. If you are interested in learning more or giving directly to the care center then click here

Meals at the Shelter

Every month 10-15 members of the temple prepare and serve a meal to unhoused men at the Bethel’s Men Shelter in Rock Hill. Each time a member acts as the coordinator and gathers volunteers, decides on a menu, and leads at the shelter.

The shelter provides important resources and services that help people get back on their feet. They also have a meal every night provided by a local organization. Men can also have a place to sleep at the shelter or at overflow locations like Grace Presbyterian Church. If you are interested in learning more click here.
